Returns Policy.
Please note when returning goods
for refund, replacement or due to fault, in all cases the part(s) must be
returned to us before replacement or refund can be issued, this includes parts
being claimed due to damage or warranty. All returns must be support by your
original sale/invoice number.
We also remind customers to assess the condition of the product before
applying for a warrany replacement or credit as we reserve the right to pass on to
customers all charges for any labour and return postage costs we incur in
assessing incorrect warranty claims.
All parts no longer required maybe subject to a 10% re-stocking fee.
We know that you will be pleased with your purchases from Cambridge Lambretta, however there may be occasions when you will need to return items to us.
If you change your mind
If you have simply changed your mind about any item ordered and you wish to return it, then in line with the Distance Selling Regulations (DSR) you can do so provided you inform us of your decision within 10 days of receipt. The item must not be used and must be as new when returned to us. Once youve informed us that you wish to return goods under the DSR, you have 14 calendar days to do so, at your own expense. Once the item is received at Cambridge Lambretta, well issue a full refund for the product to your original payment method. Please note this policy has some limitations and does not apply to electrical items such as CDI units, carburettors and jets.
Unless under warranty we do not accept of any of the following Products for return, carburettor parts, electronic coils and CDI units.
What if my goods are damaged or faulty?
No problem, we check all items during picking, and again at the packing stage,
but we understand things can happen! We ask that you notify us within 5 days
of receipt of your goods, this of course excludes and warranty with our
products under normal terms and conditions.
If the items are visibly damaged on receipt, its best to sign the carriers delivery note accordingly. Items should be returned in their original packaging complete with all parts (unless otherwise agreed with CLW). Once received, well issue a replacement or full refund to you via your original payment method and reimburse your reasonable return carriage costs (our maximum refund shall be no more then our maximum postal charges to customers)

Warranty Terms & Conditions
- Cambridge Lambretta Workshops undertake to repair, replace or credit customers for items which have failed due to genuine design faults or faulty manufacture. Items that show damage through incorrect fitment, misuse or general ware and tare will not be considered for replacement or credit.
- Tuning Parts are supplied for racing and for the purposes of modifying your scooter, and as such are not subject to our usual warranty terms, the seperate terms for these are covered further below.
- Most items will be covered by a warranty repair, warranty claims do not automatically entittle you to a new replacement part. In some cases we may refer you to the manufacturers to provide repair, replacement or assitance
- We remind customers to assess the condition of the product before applying for a replacement or credit as we reserve the right to pass on to customers all charges for any labour and return postage costs we incur in assessing incorrect warranty claims.
- Any part repaired or replaced under the warranty will be covered for the remaining period of the original warranty.
- Any parts repaired or replaced under warranty must be returned to Cambridge Lambretta Workshops by the customer for inspection before any claim can be considered.
- Warranty claims are covered only for the part purchased, and our liabilty does not cover any subsequent parts damaged or affected from such claims.
- Cambridge Lambretta Workshops do not cover labour charges for work carried out by customers or other dealers. Where the part(s) are fitted by Cambridge Lambretta Workshops, we will fit and repair the parts under warranty in our own workshops.
- Warranty does not cover parts supplied which are used competition, are misused, inadequately maintained, or incorrectly serviced or maintained.
- The part(s) must not have been subject to any modification, repair or replacement other than as authorised by Cambridge Lambretta Workshops.
- Defects caused by faulty fitment, adjustment, repairs or alterations are not covered by this warranty.
- Defects caused by the use of parts and accessories not supplied by Cambridge Lambretta Workshops are not covered by this warranty.
- The warranty does not cover the cost of transportation of the machine to or from Cambridge Lambretta Workshops, or expenses incurred while the machine is off the road for warranty repairs.
- Normal servicing and normal service items, such as spark plugs, oil and air filters are not covered by this warranty. Similarly items which are expected to wear as part of their normal function such as tyres, bulbs, chains, brake pads and clutch plates are also excluded, unless there is a manufacturing defect.
- Items excluded from warranty are seats, luggage, paint, chrome, polished aluminum items, or trim deterioration caused by normal wear and tear, exposure or lack of correct maintenance.
- The warranty does not cover machines which have been inadequately lubricated, or for which the wrong fuel or lubricant has been used.
- Should a warranty claim become necessary, Cambridge Lambretta Workshops and its Authorised Dealers shall not be liable for loss of use, inconvenience, lost time, commercial losses or other incidental or consequential damages.
This warranty shall be interpreted in accordance with English law and any question arising from this warranty shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
Any statement, condition, representation, description or warranty otherwise
contained in any catalogue, advertisement or other publication shall not be
construed as enlarging, varying or overriding anything contained herein. Cambridge
Lambretta Workshops reserve the right to make alterations or improvements without
notification to any part, model or machine without obligation to do so to machines
already sold. This warranty does not affect your statutory rights.
Tuning Parts
Tuning parts are intended for modification and racing purposes only and as such
are not covered by our usual warranty terms and conditions. All tuning and modified
parts are covered by a 30 day limited warranty, which covers faulty manufacture
only.
